Next of Kin is a premium entertainment content company founded by internationally acclaimed director Sam Wrench, in partnership with Everwonder Studio (Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson, NFL Christmas Game Day on Netflix, Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam, and Players Era). With a focus on reimagining IP and elevating entertainment across formats, Next of Kin develops and produces live events, feature documentaries, and original unscripted series and formats with global impact.

Wrench is one of the most in-demand directors in music and entertainment today. His recent work includes Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour—the highest-grossing concert film of all time—as well as landmark projects such as grammy nominated Billie Eilish: Live at the O2Lizzo: Live in ConcertBTS: Permission to DanceAmerican Idol, Rhythm and FlowSabrina Carpenter’s Netflix Christmas Special, and Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming “The Road". The Creative Team

  • Director Sam Wrench has honed a distinctive, cinematic approach to showcasing female artists, blending close‑quarter storytelling with grand live spectacle. His work spans Mary J. Blige: The London Sessions, a raw, feature‑film‑style portrayal of reinvention; Lizzo: Live in Concert and Billie Eilish: Live at the O2, both balancing intimate performer moments with electric stage presence; and the globally‑acclaimed Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film, where emotional nuance met arena‑level scale. Most recently, he directed Netflix’s A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter, a festive, variety‑style special that mixes humor and music—complete with duets, celebrity cameos, and playful sketches—while retaining his signature sensitivity to performance and persona. His branded content work has encompassed a diverse range of clients and mediums - from artist centric documentary films for MasterCard to the worlds first VR Single Performance Live Stream for Samsung. Similarly he has directed branded content for Redbull, Adidas, Toyota, NBA, McDonald’s and Converse amongst others. 

  • EVERWONDER STUDIO is a new, full-service content studio and production company across Documentary, Live, Experiential and Brand Partnerships led by Emmy and Peabody Award-winning producers IAN OREFICE – the former President of TIME and TIME Studios – and MIKE ANTINORO - the former Executive Producer of Dick Clark Productions and President of Film 45 - and backed by RedBird Capital Partners and JEFF ZUCKER – the former President of NBC Universal, CNN, and Turner Sports. With projects that span sports, culture, and global affairs, we find nonfiction subjects with worldwide appeal and transform them into entertainment that has purpose and impact, and then expand those projects as businesses across platforms, screens, and experiences.
